The Missoula Monster Project
For the past 11 years, the Zootown Arts Community Center has worked with the Missoula County Public Schools Fine Arts Department to produce the Missoula Monster Project, one of Missoula's most beloved annual community art events. This year, kindergartners from Franklin, Jeannette Rankin, & Chief Charlo Schools used their incredible imaginations to draw monsters, and adult artists will recreate these monsters in their own medium.
The resulting monster artworks will be displayed side-by-side at the ZACC Main Gallery in October. The exhibit is celebrated with a family-friendly monster-themed free community event, including live music from Cowboy Andy & the Salamanders and monster cake! It's all to raise funds to support arts education - and purchase needed art supplies for MCPS and ZACC classrooms.
A Monster-Sized Thank You to our Sponsors
We’re endlessly grateful to the Missoula Monster Project Sponsors, whose generosity helps us spark creativity in kindergarten classrooms, fill art rooms with supplies, and keep the arts accessible for all kids. You make the monster magic possible—thank you for championing imagination, community, and the joy of creation!
