MISSOULA MONSTER PROJECT

MISSOULA MONSTER PROJECT

The 9th Annual Missoula Monster Project was a huge success -  each and every monster found a new home and was purchased during the show! Thank you to everyone who helped support this community art event!

Monster purchases supported youth education programming at the ZACC. Thank you to all the artists, teachers and community partners who helped to make the 2023 Monster Project a huge success!

The Missoula Monster Project partners with three different local schools, rotating yearly. In 2023, the following schools participated:

Every year, the Zootown Arts Community Center works with the Missoula County Public Schools Fine Arts Department to produce the Missoula Monster Project, one of our most beloved annual events. Kindergartners use their incredible imaginations to draw monsters, and adult artists recreate these monsters in their medium. In 2023, kindergarteners from Jeannette Rankin, Paxson, and Russell schools created original monster drawings for artists to reimagine.
