7/16/2020: The ZACC Is Currently OPEN.
We are so happy to report that all summer camp staff and volunteer coronavirus tests returned negative, and everyone, including the diagnosed volunteer currently in quarantine, is feeling well and healthy. We feel lucky, but we know that our strict hygiene, social-distancing, and mask wearing policies contributed to the lack of spread within our building. We can't control every variable, but we can control what goes on inside the ZACC, and we plan to continue to do our best to keep our staff, volunteers, and the public at large as safe as possible in our space.
Our Paint-Your-Own-Pottery Studio will be open regular hours beginning Wednesday at 10 AM. Architectural Impressions, a group art show boasting about a dozen amazing local artists that was slated to open last Friday, will open on the First Friday in August. The online events associated with this gallery show will move forward as planned, but Drink & Draw Perspective on the Western Cider Patio will also happen next month, on August 19. Last week's Summer Camps will resume this Thursday, with the camp schedule returning to normal next Monday.
We want to thank everyone who offered their support following our announcement last week. We know that we live in a truly amazing community, but your response completely blew us away. We feel so fortunate to call Missoula home, and to be a community arts center in a place where community is truly valued, and where the arts are not only supported but celebrated. We love you, Missoula, and we hope you'll come visit us soon! ❤️
