The Zootown Arts Community Center (ZACC) is thrilled to host our 14th Annual Mini Show Art Auction! Opening on First Friday and culminating at ZEST on March 27, 2026, this beloved community event features over 100 miniature artworks created by local Missoula artists, as well as artists from across Montana and beyond.
The Mini Show Silent Auction kicks off Friday, March 6, from 5–8 PM and runs through March 27 at ZEST. Explore an incredible variety of artwork, from textiles and sculpture to painting, drawing, and printmaking, there’s something for every collector.
✨ During ZEST, don’t miss our Live Quick Finish artists, who will create original works on-site that evening, then send them straight to the live auction block! It’s fast-paced, high-energy, and a chance to bid on freshly finished pieces created right before your eyes.
Proceeds support ZACC’s daily operations and help fund ZACC Tracks, our new free music and visual arts afterschool program launching this spring in neighboring rural and Indigenous communities.
Join us in celebrating Missoula’s vibrant arts scene, bid high, bid often, and grab your tickets to ZEST today!

Come and view Heather Stockton's latest collection of work The Uncanny Valley, her most recent in the larger body of work The Secret Garden Series. For this collection Heather worked with AI to imagine the possible visual landscape of her late autistic sister's mind in her final days. The results are both emotional and visually stunning.
The Secret Garden Series: The Uncanny Valley will be on display through the month of February, and this will be the only time this show is viewable to the public in this format.
Please join Heather for her artist talk Wednesday, January 21, 6:30-7:30pm in the Blackfoot Communications Gallery.

“What inspired these pieces is my love of color and pairing humanoids and animals with inanimate objects. I love to make fun pieces that make people smile and look at the world in a unique way.”
Liberty is 10 years old and an avid artist with a BIG imagination. Born in Colorado and recently moved to Montana at the end of 2024, she has been a dedicated ZACC student for over a year, joining homeschool Friday classes and summer camps. She loves exploring new media like clay, papier-mâché, and paint, and enjoys diving into comics and role-playing games.
When she’s not creating art, you can find her riding her horse Holly, spending time with her dogs Maple and Tank, learning viola, or ice skating.
Come support this talented young creative and experience artwork full of color, joy, and imagination.
