ZACC Classroom

Saturday | October 16 | 1-4 PM |$65

Students will begin this 3 hour class learning about and utilizing a clay coil building technique to create a jug, mug, planter, or vessel shape. Students will then be guided through various sculpting techniques to build a face into their coiled creation, which they will then also glaze that same day in class. Class discussion will also include the use of faces on ceramic vessels throughout history and proper techniques to ensure a safe kiln firing.

Pieces will not be available to take home the same day. Students will be contacted when pieces have been run through the kiln and are ready to pick up.
