In this hands-on introductory class, attendees will learn about the beauty and versatility of the encaustic medium. The first portion of the class will be spent learning encaustic basics with a focus on materials, safe processes, and popular techniques and applications. The remaining time will be spent implementing your new knowledge as you work with various encaustic materials to create a piece of your own, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and experiment while you work.
