Exhibiting in the Blackfoot Communications Gallery through May

The ZACC is thrilled to present 'Gay Old Time’, works by Delaney Wascherol, in the Blackfoot Communications Gallery throughout the month of June. Works are available for purchase, and the artist will be present at the opening reception.

ABOUT THE ART
Gay Old Time is a collection of prints, paintings, and multi-media works from Delaney Wascherol that aim to romanticize queerness through the nostalgic lens of the past.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Delaney Wascherol is a printmaker and multi-media artist from Missoula, MT. A product of public arts education themselves, Delaney took their first printmaking class at the Zootown Arts Community Center (ZACC) in 2014 when they were 17. After several years of continued art education in printmaking and other mediums, Delaney returned to the ZACC, this time to teach and work in the gallery spaces. Delaney identifies as a sentimental fool, a lover of earth tones, and a queer person. All of these identities are prevalent in the art they create. Furthermore, Delaney hopes that their work is enjoyable to look at.
