The ZACC is so excited to present 'A Kindness of Cousins’, works by Missoula Bird Nerds throughout the month of April. Works are available for purchase, and the artist will be present at the opening reception.

ABOUT THE ART
“In our family we believe that all living things are our cousins and because of that we pay close attention to them. We also delight in collective nouns. This collection of art illustrates a few of our favorite cousins.  Together they make a kindness.”

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Lucy and Dottie fell in love with birds in 2019. Over the course of 4 years, Lucy’s passion for birds waned into bugs while Dottie’s held strong. They experiment with all sorts of media, ranging from pencil to paint, clay to origami. The sisters spend lots of time in the Rock Creek drainage which inspires countless creations. Dottie and Lucy are constantly outside, whether practicing photography or building bird feeders out of pots and other materials. Dottie and Lucy spend their free time reading Harry Potter and Wings of Fire. They maintain the blog, www.MissoulaBirdNerds.com.
