The Impossible Play Project

Monday through Friday, July 10-14, 10 AM-4 PM
ZACC Music School & Show Room

Monday through Friday | July 10-14 | 10 AM-4 PM | ZACC Music School & Show Room | Ages 8 - 16| $325

This course is designed to help students explore ideas of theatricality in dynamic and exciting ways! Students are asked to write a three beat play that would be I-M-P-O-S-S-I-B-L-E to stage. Using found objects brought from home (pop bottles, cardboard, tin cans, and the like), students are tasked with bringing their impossible play to life in expansive, theatrical ways. An exploration of the art of play, engineering and crafts, and kinesthetic learning, this course aims to expand students’ notions of “what a play is”!

This camp is for children ages 8-16. We cannot make exceptions for campers younger than 8 and will unenroll registrants who are too young. Thank you for your understanding – our age policies are set to maximize learning opportunities for the group as a whole.
