At Western Cider, 501 N California St

Wednesday // January 11 // 5:30-7:30 PM // Western Cider // 501 N California St // Free & Open to All

The ZACC, Montana Natural History Center, and Western Cider team up to bring you Drink & Draw Wassail! Western Cider hosts the seasonal rite of WASSAIL for a week each January to raise the winter spirit of the community. A traditionally British celebration, the purpose of this ritual is to insure a bounty of apples for the coming season. In this spirit we will be drawing apple-filled naturalistic still lifes, with bird specimens, owl skeletons, bird feathers, wings, skulls, and other intricate beauties of the world provided by the Montana Natural History Center. Drawing materials are provided for free by the ZACC, and we receive a portion of the profit from cider sales during the event. Donations for art supplies are always appreciated.
