Drink & Draw Dance with the UM Dance Program

Wednesday, January 12, 5:30-7:30 PM
At Western Cider, 501 N California St

Western Cider // Wednesday // January 12 // 5:30 – 7:30 PM // Free & Open to All

The ZACC, the University of Montana Dance Program, and Western Cider are teaming up to bring you Drink & Draw Dance this January! Let yourself be moved to draw still figures and dancers practicing their craft. UM Dance students will fill the tasting room with dance and still poses, as participants observe and draw what inspires them. This free public art event will leave you with inspiration on your drawing pad that just might make you want to get up and dance yourself. All ages and skill levels are welcome and encouraged to participate. Drawing materials are provided for free by the ZACC, and we receive a portion of the profit from cider sales during the event. Donations for art supplies are always appreciated.

UM Dance will also be running a raffle ticket sale during the event, and will be promoting their season of dance performances. The raffle ticket sale and their upcoming ACDA Benefit Concert will help UM Dance attend ACDA, the American College Dance Association conference, in 2022. Tickets to the ACDA Benefit Concert are limited and sold in advance. The winner of the raffle will receive an artwork by Russell Chatham.

The University of Montana Dance Program provides a vibrant environment in which students are challenged academically, and encouraged to develop as artists and teachers. Instruction is grounded in tradition while exploring new territory and engaging in their community and the world.
