The arts teach us how to communicate across generations, socio-economic barriers, and belief systems. They help us get to the heart of who we are, find ways to communicate when language fails us, and ways to heal when others don’t work. The ZACC is a place that makes art accessible for everyone (as it should be) through education, performances, and enrichment opportunities for folks of all ages and backgrounds.
Thanks to donations from people like you, the ZACC has been able to help thousands of people (including adults, seniors, veterans, college students, youth, tweens, and teens) find their self-esteem, grow their self respect and respect of others, and improve their ability to communicate and connect through ZACC programs designed to help each person unlock their own creative power.
Donate through Missoula Gives this week, and help us continue to provide these invaluable creative resouces to our community! Join us at our kick-off, a Pint Night at Cambie in the Old Sawmill District, Wednesday, May 4 from 5 to 8 PM. We’ll be unveiling our mystery art puzzle, and each donation will help us remove a piece of the puzzle to uncover the art beneath! And don’t forget to stop by the ZACC for First Friday. We’re opening three important and wonderful shows – including MMIW: Awareness through Art, Warrior Women / works by Naomi Thornton, and Mural in the Making / works by Adalein Stokman – and holding festivities surrounding the finale of Missoula Gives ... including the final unveiling of our mystery art proect! We can’t wait to see you there.
Much love,
Kia & Team ZACC
