Architectural Impressions // How We Experience The Built Environment in the Main Gallery

The ZACC is thrilled to host 'Architectural Impressions // How We Experience The Built Environment' in our Main Gallery, with an opening reception on August 7, 2020, from 5 to 8 PM. (Please note that this event was postponed from the original date of July 10 due to extenuating circumstances)

Join us this summer for an interactive exhibit of art celebrating all things architectural in Missoula and the surrounding areas. Artists have been invited to interpret the theme Architectural Impressions as narrowly or broadly as they wish. The month long exhibition will feature 2 and 3d work, multi-media, and a series of lectures and events.

FEATURED ARTISTS
Deborah Mitchell, Chris Haskell, Arlene Towne, Amanda Bielby, Kimberly Brown Campbell, Lillian Nelson, Karen Slobad, Tim Thornton, John Paoli, Barb Schwarz Karst, Keith VanDePol

Also during the opening: The PECHA KUCHA PANEL — a presentation with Rafael Chacon speaking on Daphne Bugbee Jones in Missoula, Author Randall Lecocq speaking on Frank Lloyd Wright in Montana, and Chris Haskell on the Missoula Shade Structures — will be uploaded onto the ZACC's YouTube Channel that afternoon: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOnxho9v75OZvCJKk0mX_pQ, and playing on a loop in the Main Gallery during the opening.

Attendees are asked to wear face-coverings in the building, as per the ZACC's safety policy.
