Donate Directly to the ZACC's Artist and Performer Relief Fund!
When we built the new ZACC downtown, one of the things we really wanted to do was support local artists and performers more! We built the ZACC Show Room and our new galleries to give Missoula based artists more chances to thrive and we are super proud of the fact that in our first few months of being downtown, we paid out nearly $10,000 in artist commissions and performer fees. Unfortunately all of that came to a halt in March when we saw a slew of cancellations and had to close our doors due to Covid-19. It may be a long while before we are able to have crowded audiences again and that not only impacts our income, it impacts the opportunities we can offer to local artists and performers. So we have been trying to find a way to keep giving. NOW, thanks to a $5,000 grant from United Way of Missoula County the ZACC is able to start an artist and performer relief fund. If we can keep this fund growing, we can give more! 95% of all donations given to this fund will go directly to support local Missoula artists and performers of all types whose income has been impacted by cancellations due to Covid-19. Help us keep our local art scene alive in this unprecedented time!
