 ‘WALKING IN BEAUTY’ EXHIBIT HONORING WOMEN\, WATER\, & CHILDREN \n\nIndige
 nizing the ZACC\, ‘Walk With Purpose’\, is a 100% Indigenous-led event enc
 ompassing all public artistic spaces of the ZACC\, and is a partnership be
 tween our Indigenous community\, the ZACC\, and the Jeannette Rankin Peace
  Center. The event begins at 4:30 PM with an MMIR Walk from the Jeannette 
 Rankin Peace Center to the ZACC\, lead by Carissa Heavy Runner\, the mothe
 r of Mika Westwolf.  \n\nAfter the walk\, from 5-8 PM\, the ZACC hosts Ind
 igenous Art Vendors\, gallery openings featuring over a dozen Indigenous a
 rtists\, works by students at Two Eagle River School\, and The Way of the 
 Sacred Mountain’s ‘Walking in Beauty’ – an exhibit honoring women\, water\
 , and children – and music by the Two Eagle River School Drum Group\, Josh
  Horn\, The Pete Sisters\, and Dylan Running Crane. \n\nGallery works will
  be on display throughout the month of November. \n\nArtists participating
  in the Indigenous Art Market and selling work in the Main Gallery receive
  100% of the funds collected from the purchase of their work.  \n\nThis ev
 ent also is supported by Blackfoot Communications\, the Montana Arts Counc
 il\, and the Social Justice Fund NW.
