  between 5-8 PM to celebrate the 10th Annual Missoula Monster Project\, ma
 rking 10 years of monster magic that begins in kindergarten classrooms.\n
 \nEvery year\, the Zootown Arts Community Center works with the Missoula C
 ounty Public Schools Fine Arts Department to produce the Missoula Monster 
 Project\, one of Missoula's most beloved annual community art events. Kind
 ergartners use their incredible imaginations to draw monsters\, and adult 
 artists recreate these monsters in their medium. The resulting monster art
 works are displayed side-by-side at the ZACC and the exhibit is celebrated
  with a family-friendly monster-themed event\, including live music and mo
 nster cake! This year's participating schools are Hawthorne\, Lewis & Clar
 k\, & Rattlesnake Elementary.\n\nMonsters created by adult artists will be
  available for purchase\, so arrive early to snag your favorite! The openi
 ng reception showcases Cowboy Andy & the Salamanders from 5 to 7 PM on the
  Show Room stage – so bring the kids\, check out all the monster art\, and
  enjoy monster cake\, generously provided by Yoke’s Fresh Market.\n\nThe M
 issoula Monster Project raises funds to support arts education in Missoula
  County Public Schools and ZACC classrooms! Monsters donated by adult arti
 sts will be sold and the proceeds will be split with the MCPS Fine Arts De
 partment to help ensure that ALL Missoula children have access to quality 
 arts education. The exhibit will be displayed in the Main Gallery through 
 October 27.\n\nFor those who are far away and can't come to the opening\, 
 don't fret – the 10th Annual Missoula Monster Project will be shoppable on
 line! All monsters will be viewable on the ZACC website following the in-p
 erson opening. We have a goal to find a home for every monster this year!
