We will go over the basics of drawing cartoons - single and multi-panel comics, supported by "how-to" lessons on drawing faces, backgrounds, lettering, coming up with gags and storylines, and compiling our results in the latest volume of ZACC Comics. The class will collaborate on the creation of a comic book and each camper will take home a copy. Taught by Tim Thornton.

Based on one of Missoula’s most popular events, expert story curator Marc Moss guides campers in selecting a story to share, building a story's three main elements and peer work-shopping. Campers learn how to share a story effectively and voice acting techniques to prepare them for their own youth Tell Us Something live event! Campers will select a theme for their Tell Us Something event, collaborate on an event flier and workshop their stories.
