Youth Programs ages 3-16

internship

The ZACC's youth programs began as an art-on-a-cart program developed by founder Hanna Hannan in 2007 and has since served thousands of children through it’s dynamic programming both on and off-site. (We now serve about 50 children a week. Ask us about sponsoring a child!)

The following programs are available:

2012 Summer Workshops and Camps

Little Artists Weekend Workshops (ages 3-6)

Young Artists Afterschool Programs (YAAP) both at schools and at ZACC

Outreach Programs to schools, communities, and youth groups

Our Aesthetic Engineers (Art Teachers) conduct outreach programming and classes on site at the center daily. We meet Montana’s Standards for the Arts and work hard to implement a contemporary community curriculum for youth in Missoula based on an Olivia Gude model.

With Missoula youth only receiving 6 hours of art instruction per year, the ZACC is an important center and supplemental program for our valley. We feel we are changing the world, inspiring the next generation of Montana-raised architects, engineers, graphic designers, and fashionistas.
