2nd Friday Gallery Openings
The ZACC gallery provides a venue to make art accessible to the community through encouraging participation and fostering authentic experiences through public and private exhibits of art, live music, and film screenings by emerging and aspiring local artists. From conception to installation, the ZACC supports exhibiting artists by helping realize their particular vision. Currently, the ZACC do-it-yourself gallery is a large, multi-use room whose uses include, but are not limited to, serving as a ZACC classroom, large meeting room, and performance space. One main monthly show hangs on the walls. In addition to individual works, other special art offerings are shown throughout the year. It has served the needs of thousands of viewers, musicians, artisans, and groups seeking an intimate space since opening in June of 2009. The ZACC seeks to more effectively meet the demands of our community for access to film shorts, live music and events for teenagers and aspiring musicians, as well as a place to showcase small box theatre and visual artwork in a low-income area of Missoula. Would you like to exhibit in our space? We have seen group shows, traveling exhibits, organizational shows, fundraisers, solo documentaries, films, installations, and educator exhibits. Download the application below. We're usually booked six months out. Send your application to info@zootownarts.org.
